Main description (English)

SThe main branches of light industry, which currently have broad social importance for southwestern Bulgaria, are the garment industry, the textile industry, the chemical industry, the food industry, the publishing industry, and the woodworking industry. The studies of the main technological parameters of the work environment to increase the efficiency for safety and ergonomics in the various branches of light industry are specific and it is difficult to comprehensively and thoroughly cover each one of them. In this connection, a sifting experiment was carried out, with the help of which the individual main branches of light industry were ranked according to their degree of social importance for southwestern Bulgaria. The factors /sectors of light industry/ that have the highest social significance for south-western Bulgaria from the light industry sectors have been determined, as follows: sewing industry; the food industry; the chemical industry. The obtained results create the conditions for future research on basic technological parameters of the working environment to increase efficiency for safety and ergonomics to focus on the branch of light industry, which is of the widest social importance.
