Main description (English)
Silently) strategy on literary appreciation among fifth-grade literary students. To attain this aim, the researchers formulated the following null hypothesis: (There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who study literature and texts with the (Think Silently) strategy and the average scores of the control group students who study the same subject in the usual way in literary appreciation. The researchers chose section A with 36 students of the fifth literary to be the control group from (Madinat Al-Ilm Preparatory School) and Section (A) of (Al-Balagh Preparatory School) as the experimental group with the number of its members (35) students. The researchers rewarded the students of the two research groups with the variables of chronological age calculated in months, the academic achievement of fathers and mothers, The researchers prepared a test to measure literary taste among the students of the two research groups. The test consisted of (25) multiple-choice items. The test was applied to the two research groups. After analyzing the results of the students' answers and processing them statistically, it was proven that the experimental group that studied literature and texts using the (Think Silently) strategy outperformed the control group that studied the same subject using the usual method. Based on the results, the researchers made a number of recommendations and suggestions
