This article investigates the development of fashion illustration in Bulgaria, highlighting its incorporation of traditional Bulgarian motifs. The discussion includes a chronological review of selected fashion illustrations that integrate these motifs, examines their appearance in women’s periodicals, and provides an overview of how this topic is addressed in secondary and higher education in Bulgaria.
