Introduzione o prefazione
L'articolo analizza le forme di esercizio e rivendicazione della cittadinanza dal basso, portate avanti da diverse associazioni di donne migranti attive nel sud della Spagna (Andalusia), indagate attraverso una ricerca etnografica. L'analisi mostra come le attiviste coinvolte nella ricerca agiscono nella sfera pubblica sulla base di un'identità complessa, nella quale l'appartenenza di genere e la condizione migrante si intrecciano con l'appartenenza etno-culturale e di classe. Da tale posizione, avanzano una fondamentale richiesta di inclusione, ma anche un'opera di ridefinizione della cittadinanza in senso inclusivo. Mettono in discussione il confine tra cittadini/e e non cittadini/e, e risignificano la cittadinanza come una questione di accesso a diritti e risorse, di riconoscimento e di parità partecipativa. Il caso studio vuole contribuire, in ottica intersezionale, alla comprensione delle forme di cittadinanza dal basso elaborate da settori diversificati della popolazione migrante, e delle trasformazioni della cittadinanza ad esse collegate.
