Abstract/Hauptbeschreibung (Englisch)

Nature is one of the greatest sources of inspiration. It has been interpreted by many designers and artists. It is beautiful, majestic, inspires respect and awe. Transformed into fashion, it is not only an element, but through clothing it can be a carrier and symbol, a sign of the rational use of natural resources, a warning sign of danger and a benefactor. With this work, I want to convey my respect for the beauty of nature, its blessings and secrets. I believe that natural elements are an inexhaustible source of ideas – bright colours and contrasts, bizarre shapes and uncontrollable abilities. I consider the topic to be relevant and inexhaustible. In this thesis, the following hypothesis was raised: We assume that natural elements are an inexhaustible source of ideas that can be successfully applied in modern clothing. We assume that by studying the essence and character of lightning in particular, approaches, methods and algorithms can be derived that can be used in certain situations (natural disasters, elements, floods, etc.) and facilitate the work of other designers on the topic. The goal is to explore the essence of natural elements and create a designer clothing collection inspired by lightning. Keywords: nature, lightning, fashion, clothing
