Il presente studio si propone di valutare gli effetti di mediazione di alcune emozioni traumati-che (paura/ansia, rabbia, senso di isolamento, impotenza, umiliazione, disgusto, senso di tra-dimento, vergogna e colpa) nella relazione tra PTSD e coerenza narrativa in un gruppo di 84 deposizioni testimoniali di bambini (M = 9 anni; SD = 3.2; range: 4-17), vittime di abuso sessuale. La coerenza narrativa è stata analizzata in termini di livello di orientamento, sequen-za degli eventi e livello di valutazione (Miragoli et al., 2017; O'Kearney et al., 2007; Peterson & McCabe, 1983). Il Linguistic Inquiry Word Count (LIWC; Pennebaker, Francis, & Booth, 2001) è stato utilizzato invece per il conteggio dei marcatori linguistici emotivi. I risultati con-fermano che il PTSD gioca un ruolo importante nel determinare la coerenza narrativa e illu-strano come alcune specifiche emozioni traumatiche (vergogna e disgusto) esercitino un effet-to di mediazione (parziale o totale) nella relazione tra PTSD e coerenza narrativa.
