The development of textile technologies opens up new horizons for architecture and design, transforming traditional notions of materials, structure, and space. With the introduction of high-tech solutions for design, production, and assembly, textiles are becoming not only a means of aesthetic expression but also an active structural element. They can regulate light, heat, and acoustics, as well as provide interactivity and adaptability within the built environment. The paper, through an interdisciplinary approach to production techniques and design processes, outlines practical applications, key challenges, and future research directions related to the integration of textile technologies into contemporary architectural and design thinking.
