Textile products are a necessity in our everyday lives. It is not mandatory for every family to have a vase or other decorative item, but it is absolutely necessary for every person to have clothes to wear. That is why the artistic design of fabrics is so important – it plays a significant role in shaping a good taste for clothing. There are very few fabrics that do not require a beautiful design – these are mainly fabrics for technical purposes, such as hoses, conveyor belts, filters, and similar items. All other fabrics are shaped according to their purpose, the material used, fashion, and many other factors. Particular attention should be paid to fabrics for clothing and home. They must not only look good but also create a sense of coziness, freshness, and joy. It is important that they meet the increasingly high expectations of people regarding aesthetics in everyday life. In textile production, technology for printing textile flat products, which are woven or knitted in white or dyed in a solid color, is often used. In the dyeing workshop of the company E. Miroglio EAD, which produces these types of fabrics and patterns for textile surface products, two printing techniques are used: transfer and direct. The aim of the research is to select a product with the necessary parameters and to design a pattern for bedding. For this purpose, the types of printing that can be applied and the material that will be used for printing have been examined. This project has developed an artistically and functionally justified colorful printed design intended for bedding, which meets contemporary aesthetic requirements and market trends, combining decorative value, comfort, and applicability in textile printing.
