Noi esseri umani come esseri sociali, ci siamo evoluti e ci sviluppiamo in interazione con altri della nostra specie e tessiamo legami determinanti per la nostra sopravvivenza e anche per il nostro benessere (Gallese et al., 2024). Guardare alle relazioni per curare i legami, secondo un approccio in seconda persona (León et al., 2022; Reddy, 2003), ha un valore centrale nei percorsi di psicoterapia, nei quali si porta alla consapevolezza del paziente le strategie adattive degli individui per mantenere i legami, anche a fronte di quote di alta sofferenza. In psicoterapia per l'età evolutiva i trattamenti sono spesso incentrati sul comprendere i sintomi e la sofferenza a carico del bambino o del genitore trascurando un elemento fondamentale costitutivo alla base della relazione genitore e bambino e della creazione del senso di noi con l'altro: il piacere come esperienza interpersonale condivisa.L'articolo propone una visione dell'importanza del piacere nelle relazioni genitori e figlio, secondo un approccio evoluzionista (Liotti & Farina, 2011) e sulla base della neurobiologia affettiva interpersonale (Schore, 1994; Hill, 2020), che ponga le basi condivise per metodi di trattamento coerenti per la cura dei legami, volti a promuovere la connessione, e il benessere. Verrà presentato un caso clinico, secondo il modello di un approccio integrato basato sull'attaccamento (Lender, 2023), con la Theraplay (Norris & Lender, 2020) e la terapia diadica evolutiva (Hughes & Golding, 2024).
