Il contributo si sofferma sulla crescente ricerca sul Diversity management (DM) e le sue implicazioni per l'equità di genere, in particolare sul contesto italiano. Sebbene il DM sia riconosciuto come una scelta strategica vitale per le organizzazioni a livello globale, il suo sviluppo in Italia assume un focus predominante sulle questioni della forza lavoro femminile. Di fatto queste ultime, sebbene siano generalmente più istruite degli uomini, affrontano tassi di occupazione più bassi, che si restringono ulteriormente con l'aumentare del numero di figli e tendono ad avere un reddito più basso, data la precarietà dei loro contratti lavorativi, lo sbilanciamento di genere nei settori economici e la scarsa possibilità di ricoprire posizioni. Nel quadro teorico, il femminismo critico pone l'attenzione sullo smantellamento delle strutture organizzative patriarcali, enfatizzando la riflessione sul privilegio, la riforma strutturale per l'emancipazione, l'aumento della consapevolezza di genere e la ricostruzione della solidarietà. Allo stesso tempo, il costruzionismo sociale, radicato nella formulazione di rivendicazioni e nell'analisi narrativa, sottolinea la natura contestuale e interattiva dei problemi. Studi precedenti mettono in luce la necessità di una comprensione contestuale degli approcci di DM ed è in questo senso che la presente ricerca vuole contribuire. Lo studio utilizza la narrative inquiry per comprendere le percezioni di equità di genere nelle organizzazioni di Vicenza. 15 interviste semi-strutturate con i responsabili delle risorse umane e/o i rappresentanti sindacali esploreranno le politiche e le pratiche organizzative che promuovono l'equità di genere. Successivamente, tre digital storytelling workshop saranno organizzati con il personale delle organizzazioni che risulteranno virtuose, al fine di consentire loro di raccontare le loro esperienze. Questo sforzo mira ad esaminare e disseminare modelli organizzativi per migliorare l'equità di genere praticati dalle imprese di Vicenza. La ricerca vuole contribuire a sviluppare una maggiore consapevolezza e comprensione dell'equità di genere nelle organizzazioni di Vicenza e fornire spunti e strumenti per promuovere un cambiamento organizzativo positivo.
